The key equipment for this lesson is the strobe. For this I used my Profoto B1 500. The editing required some tricky cleaning to remove all of the unnecessary specular highlights (little white spots).

In the editing segment of this lesson I wanted to focus on proper methodology for blending in the carbon fiber lit shots, and how to use that clean wall copy paste technique to clean up your background. Of course both of these techniques required some particular techniques and workflows that I might of rushed through to touch on the key points. If you’re unfamiliar or not comfortable with these techniques be sure to check out the LiveClass Commune “Advanced Automotive Photoshop” 3 hour editing class to learn every technique required!
